We want you to be completely satisfied with ZS Sections. If something isn't working for you — whether it's a technical issue, mismatch with your theme, or simply not what you expected — we'll make it right.
Refund Eligibility
- Request submitted within 30 days of purchase
- Technical issues we cannot resolve within 7 days
- Section incompatible with your theme version
- Section significantly differs from advertised features
- Request made after 30 days from purchase date
- Section heavily modified beyond original code
- Account terminated for Terms violation
- Issue caused by third-party apps or theme conflicts unrelated to our section
Refund terms for custom-built sections will be added when that feature becomes available. Until then, only prebuilt section refunds are covered by this policy.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at contact@zssections.com
Include your order ID, store URL, and reason for the refund request.
We'll respond within 24 hours
If it's a technical issue, we'll first try to fix it. Most issues are resolved without needing a refund.
Refund processed through Shopify Billing
Approved refunds are credited back to your Shopify account through the same Billing API used for purchase, typically within 5-7 business days.
Section removed from your account
Once refund is processed, the section is removed from your account. We may also remove section files from your theme if technically possible, or you can delete them manually from My Sections.
Before Requesting a Refund
To save you time, here are common issues and quick solutions:
- Section not appearing? Make sure your theme is Online Store 2.0 compatible and you're looking in the right page template.
- Styling looks broken? Try clearing your browser cache and view in an incognito window.
- Conflict with another app? Email us — we often have quick fixes for known compatibility issues.
- Want to customize beyond settings? Check the Help & Resources tab inside the app for documentation and customization tips.
Refund Method
All refunds are processed back through Shopify's Billing API to the same payment method used for purchase. Once a refund is approved:
- Credit appears on your next Shopify invoice
- Or, if your store has positive balance, refunded immediately
- Bank/credit card processing times vary by issuer (typically 5-10 business days) — this depends on your bank, not us
Disputes & Chargebacks
We always prefer to resolve issues directly. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without contacting us first may result in account restrictions and complications with future purchases. We are committed to fair resolution and almost always work things out when given the chance.
